Seas the day

I was four years old when I went on my first cruise Grandeur of the Seas. It was seven nights through the Eastern Caribbean. Now, here we are many years later as I just got home from my nineteenth.

My friends have always questioned me, asking why I would prefer cruising over going on an all-inclusive vacation. The answer is simple; I want to see the world. I have nothing against those who wish to lay on a beach for two weeks straight doing nothing but tanning and drinking. If that's what you desire don't let anybody get in your way. I, however, seek more. I don't like staying in the same place for too long. I've always been an anywhere but here kind of girl. I am consumed by wanderlust. Cruising allows you the freedom to explore and it gives you great insight on where you'll have your destination wedding one day (my parents constantly *nudge* me on that one). Each island is full of new adventures, culinary experiences and scenic views. There is so much out there just waiting to be explored and I've got all the world to go.

To me, a new year means new opportunities and one of those is launching my blog, a Little Rae of Light. For many years I've gone back and forth debating on if this was a thing I wanted to do. I am at a point in my life where I'm ready for the challenge and I hope that you'll all take this journey with me.
